The androgenetic alopecia is also known as seborrheic alopecia or male pattern alopecia. It is more common in young men, and mainly caused by androgen. It showes a progressive hair density reduction, which extends gradually from the forehead to the top of the head and develops to the remaining hair of occipital and temporal. In recent years, due to the social pressure of competition, people are always in a state of tension, and this stimulates the body to increase the secretion of androgens which make the hair follicle atrophy, and cause the androgenetic alopecia patients increase gradually. The internal treatment is generally to take the androgen inhibitors, but the external treatment relatively has a gentler side effect and a large number of clinical reports shows that its effect is significant. The external treatment is widely used to cure androgenetic alopecia in clinic, and the preparations is more convenient to wash and coat, besides, it doesn’t need high skill to manipulate, so more patients recept this treatment. Currently, the topical formulations Mandy and Kangsite has been widely used in our hospital. Objective:This study aimed to compare the clinical effect of androgenetic alopecia in two topical formulations, to provide theoretical basis and guidance for clinical medicine selection. Furthermore, provide some direction for this disease at choosing topical formulations.Method:This reserch used a stochastic and controled method. Brought in60cases of men with androgenetic alopecia, then divided them randomly to treatment group30cases and control group30cases. Both of two groups oral finasteride tablet lmg qd, and compound vitamin B tablet3pieces tid, the treatment group combine with Kangsite external use, compare to the control group combine with Mandy external use. Followed up once and filled in the corresponding observation scale before the treatment and the first month, the second month, the third month and the sixth month after the treatment, meanwhile recorded the adverse events, monitored the blood routine examination, the urine routine examination, the liver function and the renal function, in order to explore the clinical efficacy of topical treatment on androgenetic alopecia.Result:The results showed that the treatment of Kangsite combining finasteride for androgenetic alopecia had a equal efficiency with the control group, The effective rate was80.00%in treatment group, and was73.33%in treatment group. The comparation before and after the treatment in two groups had significant differences(P<0.05), and the curative effect between the two groups has no significant differences. Conclusion:We can see that Kangsite combining finasteride had a definite efficacy in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia, the toxic and side effects is not found.
