Integrative Treatment Of Men With Androgenetic Alopecia Clinical Observation

Objective To observe the clinical curative effect of combine traditional Chinese and Western medicine,and provide several supporting data for treating Androgenetic Alopecia.Methods We apply for the method of random double-blind,and divide 31 patients into the experiment group and the control one.The patients of the experiment group orally take "Shen Qi Pill" three times per day,"Shen Qi Tincture" twice a day,and Finasteride once a day,The patients of the control group orally take "Shen Qi Tincture" twice a day,and Finasteride once a day.Observing the changes that after 24 weeks' treatment,using One-Sample T Test,Paired-Sample T Test,Rank Sum Test,and Fisher's Exact Test statistically analyzing data including the two groups' total curative effect,different syndrome of each pattern. meanwhile,comparing the relationship between the courses of the experimental group with curative effect.Results In the total 17 patients of the experimental group,recovery:2 pts, excellence:9 pts,utility:6 pts,total notable rate is 65%.In the total 14 patients of the control group,recovery:1 pts,excellence:2 pts,utility:11 pts,total notable rate is 21%.Through Rank Sum Test of the total notable rates (P=0.004＜0.05) the experiment group and the control group have significant difference and analyzing the treatment effect of two groups using rank test,there's statistical difference.Conclusion Compared with the effect of the experimental group and the control group which used to treat Androngenetic Alopecia,the combination of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine work better and is worthy of being applied widely in the clinical practice.
