PurposeThe research discusses clinical nurse resilience status and correlations withpsychological health on the basis of concepts and theoretical models. It can provide areference for future research on the resilience the basis for hospital administrators tonurse the human resources management.Methods1. Research objects: Using the convenience sample way. It chooses fourhundred and ten nurses who are from a three level of first-class hospital of internalmedicine、surgical department、gynaecology and obstetrics、emergency treatment、and Paramedical units in Changchun.2. Research methods and tools: A questionnaire survey was conducted amongthe investigation. The survey questionnaire including: Clinical nurse general datatable; Connor and Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC); Self-report SymptomChecklist90(SCL-90); Social Sepport List.3. Statistical analysis method: All data have been calculated through SPSS17.0software, and descriptive statistics analysis, major means were t test、analysis ofvariance and Pearson correlation analysis.Results1. The resilience situation of clinical nurses(1) Different dimensions of surveyed four hundred and two hospital nurseresilience were significant difference, of which the highest scoring confident,optimistic lowest score.(2) Hospital nurse resilience and total confidence and optimism two dimensionscores were significant difference in different age groups, and less or equal to25years old of age group higher.(3) Different degree nurse optimistic score have statistical significance. (4) Hospital nurse of different length of service score difference has a statisticalsignificance in resilience overall score and confidence score.(5) The higher the academic rank, the higher the score of relative resilience(6) There is no difference of different establishment nurse score; There wasobvious difference on nurse resilience score in different department.2. The analysis on the resilience and the psychological situations of nursesThe total score of SCL-90of nurses were obvious higher than the commonChinese adults in force, interpersonal sensitive, depression, anxiety and paranoid fivefactors, and there was obvious difference between two groups.Nurses with psychological healthy conditions gor higher scores on resiliencethan those with psychological problems, and there was difference between twogroups.There were obvious difference on social support and SCL-90betweenCD-RISC high score group and CD-RISC low group.3. The analysis of the corelation between resilience and the related factors.There was positive correlation between CD-RISC scores and social support anddepartments, and significant negative correlation with age and SCL-90scores.Conclusion1. Hospital nurses’ overall mood is not high, the lack of a positive mentalattitude of work and life.2. Age, record of formal schooling, length of service, professional title and thedifferent departments, affect hospital nurse psychological elastic condition.3. The better mental flexibility, the more healthy psychological; the younger,the better mental flexibility; the higher the degree of social support, the better mentalflexibility.
