Objective: To discuss the etiology and treatment of postoperation oflumbar disc herniation with contralateral neurologic symptomsMethods: retrospectively analyse12LDH cases with postoperativecontralateral neurologic symptoms and discuss the pathogeny and effect oftreatment.Results: the ratio of disc herniation occupied spinal canal square measureis relavent with postoperative contralateral neurologic symptoms. Recoveryfrom contralateral neurologic symptoms occurred in the next two days whenthe contralateral neurologic symptoms had happened.Conclusion: postoperation of lumbar disc herniation with contralateralneurologic symptoms which almostly caused by nonspecific inflammation andsurgery are well treated with conservative treatment。PLIF causes no moredamage to nerve root than lurbar articular fusion. |
