Clinical Research On Jade Moxibustion Treatment For Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Herniation With Cold Dampness Syndrome

Object ivesContrasting two treatment method of Lumbar Intervertebral disc herniation, it expect to approach the clinical function and generalizing value of jade moxibustion therapy for Lumbar Intervertebral disc herniation. Also it wants to find an easy and standard operation methodMethods60Participant who were Lumbar Intervertebral disc herniation with Cold Dampness Syndrome Patients being invited to join in the Study. They were randomly picked to form two different categories:the Treatment Group(30Participants) and the Control Group(30participants).The therapeutic course lasts for two weeks in total. We need to estimate the therapeutic effect before the treatment and fourteen days after treatment. The measuring scales are Japanese Orthopaedic Association Scores (JOA) and Visual Analogue Scale/Score(VAS).Result1. The data display that in the jade moxibustion group, the good improvement rate was70%, and the total effective rate was96.67%; while in the moxibustion group, the good improvement rate was63.34%, and the total effective rate was80%. The two groups had significant differences, and the treatment group was superior to control group.2. Fourteen days after treatment, the Japanese Orthopaedic Association Scores (JOA) and Visual Analogue Scale/Score (VAS) of both groups are improved, having statistic differences with the situation before treatment.3. Fourteen days after treatment, the Japanese Orthopaedic Association Scores (JOA) and Visual Analogue Scale/Score (VAS) of the jade moxibustion group and the moxibustion group having statistic differences with each other, the curative effect of the jade moxibustion is better than the moxibustion group. 4. The sensing method of the jade moxibustion group are different to the moxibustion group, the jade moxibustion groups is deep sensation,but the moxibustion group is spread sensation.5. The jade moxibustion group tepid feeling duration differences, the jade moxibustion tepid feeling duration more durable.ConclusionBoth jade moxibustion therapy and moxibustion therapy can improve the situation of the Japanese Orthopaedic Association Scores(JOA) and Visual Analogue Scale/Score(VAS), and the curative effect of the jade moxibustion is better than the moxibustion group.
