Strategic Study For An County Hospital Of Traditional Chinese Medical

With deeper and deeper reform force in health and medical community, the medical market is developed further and further, the competition situation in health and medical industry becomes more and more serious. All kinds of hospitals will face more complex competition environment, if any hospital wants to stand in the mark with winning manner all along and makes itself run with long life-span and be more persistent, it must analyze the environment around、opportunity and challenge it faces, the advantages and disadvantages in the round in order to find out the appropriate strategy which fits for its own development trend.This paper is based on the actual and current situation in An County Hospital of TCM, make use of the SWOT analysis approach so that the proper strategy that fits for itself very much is finalized accordingly. Six chapters are generated in this article. The first part is the exordium, according to the serious situation which the hospital faces through its development period, the study purpose and significance are raised. Secondly, it mainly includes the theory that applies to this article. Thirdly, find out the opportunities and threats the hospital faces via analyzing the hospital’s external environment. Fourthly, find out the advantages and disadvantages for this hospital based on the hospital’s internal environment analysis. Fifthly, combine the internal and external environment integrated analysis, finalize the development strategy for this hospital. The analysis result for An County Hospital of TCM is that the opportunities are more obvious than threats, advantages are more than disadvantages. Based on the company’s point of view, the increase strategy should be adopted, if based on the operational layer’s point of view, the differentiation strategy should be adopted. Sixthly, it mainly includes the implementation comment and controlling of the hospital strategy, this paper makes construction contribution for the hospital’s organization、 human resource and brand building.This study topic is combined with author’s working practice and strategy theory, then works out the systematical development strategy for An County Hospital of TCM, this article is significant for hospitals dealing with the complex and variational competition environment, it is useful to guide how to mange the hospital better, meanwhile, the studying thinking and approach can also be applied for a reference and make certain contribution for hospital strategy management practice.
