Background: The nursing shortage has become a global issue, a huge loss of nurses is one ofthe main reasons causing the shortage of nurses. The quality of operating-room has a directimpact on the health care quality and safety. Adequate staffing and stable care team are thebasic conditions that ensuring the quality of operating room, so the operating nurse are the keytargets of specialist training. However, the loss of operating nurses has always existed inrecent years. The departure of the ICU, emergency, pediatric nurse specialists has theextensive attention of researchers and managers, rarely seen the relevant reports of operatingnurses turnover.Objective: To study the current status of turnover intention among operating-room nurses andits correlated factors, to analyze the factors’role in the process of forming prediction programof leaving, providing a reference for the management of the care team, in order to providesuggestion for nursing managers taking intervention measures to effectively control theturnover rate.Method: First use the scale of turnover intention and questionnaire of influencing factors toevaluate the level of turnover intention among operating-room nurses and understand itsimpact factors. On this basis, use the semi-structured interviews interviewing with the staffwho have left, to discuss real ideas of his departure and the role of influenced factors.Result: The total score of turnover intention was (15.29±3.41) points, The differencesbetween different general, income and shift were Significantly. The top three influencingfactors were pay and fairness, the characteristics of operating room, developmentopportunities. Through the linear regression analysis, according to the role of size the firstshree factors are: age, salary and a sense of fairness, management style.Conclusion: The turnover intention of operating-room nurses at a high level and the nursingteam is unstable, the proportion at high and very high is 78.64%. The turnover intension ofoperating-room nurse affected by the interaction of many factors . The pay, characteristics ofoperating room, age, development opportunities and management style have major impact onturnover intention of operating-room nurses.
