Engineering Construction Project Resource Management Based On System Dynamics Research

China’s construction engineering has met its unprecedentedly rapid development in recent5decades, however, the closely related theory on the management of the construction project is lagged behind. The content of engineering project management covered a wide aspect, in which resource management is one of the most significant parts. The traditional research on the resource management of the engineering project management focus on one-sidedness research on one or several aspects of the resource system (such as human resources management, investment management and finance management, information management and son on) and and some useful conclusions are presented. However, in this age of accelerating development of construction engineering and larger size and centralization of today’s construction engineering, it is meaningful to conduct studies on the systemic research on resource management.This paper selecting engineering construction projects as the research object and the resource management of engineering construction projects as the research content qualitativelyanalyzes various influence factors in the resource system of engineering construction projects on the basis of practical research by applying the theories of project management and system dynamics. On this basis this paper constructs the system dynamics model for the resource management systems of engineering construction projects and the computer simulation model based on the applying of system language of dynamics analysis and simulation softwareVensim PLE. Tests are performed on therationality system boundaries, the the consistency of units, the extrem performance and its sensitivity of the model. It proved that the model can basicly reflect the actual situation and meet the requirements of the simulation. This paper combined with the specific background of the resource management of a housing project validates that the simulation resultsis is consistent with the reality by performing system simulation. Based on the the initial simulation this paper offers referenceby the study of dynamic resource management and put forward some revelations for the resource management of engineering construction projects for the person in the construction enterprises and management.At last, the paper makes conclusion and prospects.
