With the rapid development of the crane industry, crane has been widelyused in factories, mines, ports, construction sites, the station, hydropower station,warehouses and other various production departments.In order to effectivelyarrange the crane resources and keep the safety of crane operation, hoistingcompanies put forward higher requirements on the accuracy, efficiency andreliability of hoisting scheme design. On the contrary, the lifting scheme ismainly a manual approach, which makes the lifting scheme of the task becomeburdensome and inefficient. Therefore, it is significant to combine the researchon virtual reality technology with lifting simulation system. This paper detailedlydescribes the data management, the crane condition choice and the establishmentof crane model.This system uses OSG to build hoisting scene simulation platform and uses3DMAX software to process different scene graph model in order to achievebetter scene effect. It uses access database to store the system data, the dataincludes project management module, crane condition selection module, hoistingscene structure module, the movement of the crane simulation module and theoutput of hoisting scheme module.This paper gives specific description of craneoperation selection process,which includes the operation condition selection ofinterface design,the selection condition checking process.The selection processconsiders the lifting weight of the crane, lifting height and amplitude factor. Theentire system model entities are established by using open OSG and3DMAXmethod,which include crane model, hoisting object model, obstacle model andsling model.
