Construction machinery products have played a huge role in real life. What ismore, it seeks a spring under the help of National policy. At the same time,construction machinery industry is also continuously sparing no efforts to improvetheir innovation capabilities. Industrial design, as an important method of innovation,has also been paid more attentions. As a constant pursuit of newer, better, morebeautiful discipline, industrial design can help to enhance the product identity, andspeed up the optimization of the product structure and function. It has become themost dynamic and creative activity in the company.The co-operation between enterprise and design team gains more attention. Forusers and businesses, to understand the process of industrial design is very necessary.It will not only help the enterprise to grasp the key points of the design process, andimprove the efficiency of communication between the two sides, but also be able tosave a certain amount of manpower, material and time. In China, Sany group has setup a special industrial design center to manage the enterprise’s whole industrialdesign progress.Times ahead, the science and technology are changing every day. Bionic designis becoming a new direction. In modern life, this modeling method has been widelyused in product design.The paper is based on the Sany Counterbalanced forklift design project. First, theevaluation and analysis are carried out according the basic customer’s requirements.Second, research and analysis of design objects and related factors are done. Third,according to the scientific and systematic method, detailed design is carried on.Finally, based on the entire design process, the paper has an overall analysis, andproposes a simple operative model based on bionic design.
