Promoted by development of international economy and trade in circulation 、the policy support of government, transformation of people’s consumption pattern and other factors, port logistics system has developed at top speed day by day. As vehicle of construction machinery for a key link in system, the demand for forklift in marketing increases continuously and stably. With becoming mature of forklift market, enterprise try to win the consumer share by market segments for the biggest benefit. And market economy development up to now, enterprise brand based on world all know that brand is important for enterprise development, also enlarge effect o f own brand by various way. Thereinto, it’s the most efficient method to unified plan of the products visual system, and family(design) is one of major means.10 T Sany Counterbalanced forklift cooperated with Hunan University is a project based on this background.Sany is outstanding figure of successful China heavy industry enterprise, which forms a unique enterprise culture and product feature. And the task of our team is development of product line of the counterbalanced forklift, enrichment of product molding language and balance of similarity and individuality by the premise of continuation of its family product feature.The paper based on the appearance molding design of Sany 10 T counterbalanced forklift. First, the analysis and research are processed according project brief, then we analyze successful cases in market, and summarizing the feature and changing rule of its family product molding language. Second, the discussion and analysis are carried out for the design of project scheme. Finally, the summary of issues on design process is done, and the exploration and discussion of the key factor of product family(design) in enterprise development come to a conclusion.
