EPC,as a major contracting mode for international power plant project,is notonly a key strategy that China companies compete to win global power constructionmarket,but also the road to survive and develop itselves.International power plantEPC projects are characterized as the complex project because of its multi-regionaland multi-stakeholder,extensive engineering discipline involved,long project cyclesand high contract liquid damage etc.EPC general contractors often expose to greatchallenge and risks unexpected.China power equipment export companies have justgroped their own way forward abroad in less than20years.They’ve made remarkableachievements but also suffer from painfull lessons.How to integrate risk managementinto project daily management activities,how to improve risk management andlearning curves from lessons,these are the subjects China EPC contractors need tostudy and work out.The PaPer is based uPon the theory,Praetieality,innovation etc.Following theguidance of the relevant national policy and the intemational commone onvention andthe management theories, it Presents a theoretical framework with a view tocireumvent the relevant risks from the international EPC Power Projects byanglicizing the concrete real case studies.Meantime,the PaPer Point to generalize therisks,In addition, this study analyses the master risks,find the Pivotal riskgenes,Puts forward some advises for cireumventing the relevant risks of Politieal、soeial、eeonomieal、environmental from the international EPC Power Projeets contraet Projeets with the Iiterature,AHP,comparative and the other research methodslingking to the actual instance.
