Research On The Project Schedule’s Establishment And Optimization Of The Underground Structures Of YK Building

The project schedule is the basis and premise of project management, and an important guarantee for achieving the project objectives. The role of the project schedule is planning a variety of resources for the implementation of the project scientifically and arranging various construction activities. Its main work includes decomposing the project’s structure, allocating responsibilities, sorting and describing activities, allocating resources, estimating duration, and working out plans. It’s called the duration-cost optimization that further optimizing the project schedule based on the preliminary one and according to the project objectives, in order to coordinate the relationship among duration, relate resources and implementation costs.The research has taken the underground structures project of YK building for the study object, referred to the latest research results of some experts and scholars in the area pertinently on the basis of further researching and combing the theory on the schedule’s establishment and optimization. Then the basic structure of the underground structures of YK building is built by using WBS, the duration of every construction process is estimated by using PERT, Gantt chart and Network Diagram of the project schedule are built by using Network Planning Technology supported by Magnum project management software, and the critical path of the project network diagram is analyzed. Then the duration of the critical work is compressed by using duration-cost optimization method in project management, and the duration of the project cost optimization program is come out. At the same time the cost of the critical path both before and after duration-cost optimization are compared by the milestone plan, Gantt chart plan and network diagram after the optimization in accordance with the Magnum project management software program. The methods of the schedule’s establishment and dynamic optimization are further researched and listed systematically in the study, which has certain reference and meaning for the similar project’s schedule management.
