Construction schedule management of large-scale construction projects is guided by theory,and through the application of management methods,the planned and organized control of construction projects can be realized,so that the project can be completed on time according to the scheduled total construction period,and the expenditure can be saved.At present,the actual project managers are still more experience based schedule management.This paper gives a detailed introduction to the critical path method and the advantages of using Project software.On this basis,it demonstrates the feasibility and necessity of using Project software to manage the construction schedule of large-scale construction projects.It can improve the control level of project schedule and cost and make up for the deficiency of previous managers in management by experience.This paper discusses the steps of compiling and controlling the Project progress plan with Project software,including defining the progress plan at all levels,compiling the progress plan at all levels,compiling the budget cost plan,updating and controlling the monthly and weekly progress plan and the total progress plan.Based on the study of critical path method and Project software theory,the Project schedule and cost management model is established.This paper takes the construction Project of no.2building of tianbo apartment phase ii Project as an example,and describes how to conduct Project schedule management with Project software.In the process of compiling and updating progress plans at all levels,it provides a strong basis for project managers to propose more targeted methods when updating and controlling progress plans and later adjusting progress plans.It solves the problem of collaborative management and control of progress plan of all participating parties and improves the efficiency of progress management.Aiming at some practical problems still existing in the construction process of large-scale construction projects,such as the unfamiliarity of management personnel with software and software version problems,corresponding solutions are given for actual projects.The traditional schedule management mode is optimized.
