With China’s rapid economic and social development and urban-rural integration, especially with people s strong desire to improve the living environment of the areas, city infrastructure is not perfect, land utilization rate is low, the layout of the confusion, environmental degradation and other issues become more prominent in old area. In recent years, many domestic region had a large scale reforming,related to the old residential district, the old business district and the main city infrastructure transformation of the old city. Shenjiamen foreshore of Binganglu Road reconstruction is one case, Shenjiamen road foreshore of Binganglu is located in the world famous largest fishing port, the world’s three largest fishing port of Shenjiamen port, the construction of the building here are ranged at century80s to this century of different periods, although in2005the government implements the facade transformation and lighting engineering of rebuilding a new, but the overall effect is not good; especially the low-rise buildings, these buildings still keep the simple style of architecture in the last century fifty or sixty’s, and through the rain wash, peel, the building has seriously affected the perception; on the other hand within the area building space and facilities are relatively backward. This article through to the domestic and foreign successful cases and the transformation of the old city transformation process highlighted the problem carries on the summary, and according to China’s social and economic development and Zhoushan Shenjiamen road foreshore of Binganglu s actual circumstance which has a long history and culture, the renovation project put forward the suggestions and Strategies of reference.
