Low-voltage apparatus are the indispensable electric components andequipment in industry, agriculture and housekeeping. In recent years, lowvoltage apparatus are developing fast. Meanwhile, smart grid constructionprovides it a development opportunity.When a low-voltage apparatus is working, its current state is reflectedby the field parameters. Collecting and analyzing the parameters is ofgreat help to find fault and improve power grid maintenance and electricsafety. At present parameter acquisition mostly uses wired transmission.However, some complex environments are not convenient to place wires.The paper studies and designs a field parameters acquisition system inlow-voltage apparatus based on ZigBee technology, implements awireless acquisition with0~300V AC voltage and0~5A AC current.ZigBee, a wireless sensor network technology which has characteristics such as short distance, low rate transmission, low cost andlow power consumption etc, is applied in agriculture, industry andhousekeeping, medical care and other areas. ZigBee technology uses ISMband, which is2.4GHz for global general frequency band. Its radiofrequency part can be an independent component or be integrated in theprocessor or micro controller.The32-bit system-level ZigBee wireless RF microcomputer chipSTM32W108manufactured by ST is chose as the processor in the paper.The chip which is based on ARM Cortex-M3kernel and integrated anIEEE802.15.4RF transceiver has a powerful processing ability, andsupports ZigBee wireless technology.The system combines the sensor nodes with the transformers,implements a field parameter acquisition system in low-voltage apparatusbased on ZigBee technology. The system which has strong portability, isconveniently to increase or decrease nodes, and can be embedded into ormounted onto the low-voltage apparatus whose parameters are needed.
