At present, electric, gas, and wafer meters reading has been the use of manualmeter reading, not only has huge workload, but also accuracy, timeliness can not beguaranteed, which has a direct impact on the working efficiency of the electricitysector. Existing meter reading program communication is through powerlinecommunication or RS-485Line Communications, which belongs to a wiredconnection meter reading system.Wireless meter reading program communicationdoes not require physical hardware, it’s more effectively to receive data in the face ofcomplex reality, that can save the cost of human resources, and therefore attractive.For the deficiencies of the traditional meter reading system, the short-rangewireless meter reading technology can provide new ideas and ways to solve suchproblems. Compared to the meter connected to the traditional wired three meters, theshort-range wireless meter reading is not only timely and accurate set of advantages,but also easier to install and operate in the complex environment.Short-range wireless data transmission to achieve in this article rely mainly onzigbee technology, its close, low-power, low data rate, low cost and excellentnetworking capability in automatic meter reading system will be widely used in future.short-range wireless meter reading system based on Zigbee technology can achievedata communication between the underlying acquisition and the concentrator, which isthrough the GPRS network or telephone line data transmission to realize. For the moredense, the short distance distribution of the residential area meter reading terminal, theproblem of automatic meter reading can also be solved Zigbee-based wirelessnetworking.The hardware part is with the core of Zigbee CC2480chip to set up network forcommunication. module.Emphasize to analyse woke principle of each module anddesign circuit to meet the requirement of setting up network.For ammeter part throughinfrared way to realize synchronized counting with original ammeter,which has beengiven the detailed design idea and schematic circuit.The software part includes two main parts: Monitoring point data acquisition andremote data communication. It’s as platform combine with Zigbee agreement andthrough application procedure designing to make wireless communication module hasthe function of synchronizer,route and terminal gathering,and set up the string shapenetwork. Finally,through analyzing simulation profile to ensure the correctness of circuitrebuilt by ammeter.Via experiment successfully set up string shape network withthree wireless modules,clearly display the whole process of entire network and datacommunication.Further show the highly effective and accurate of wirelesscommunication of wireless module that use CC2480as core part, the whole systemCan meet the requirements of ammeter wireless communication only with littertransformation....
