The urban transportation problem is one of the most important aspects in the citydevelopment, the subway engineering construction has become a good choice for the citiesto ease traffic problems and improve the city’s image. Multiple problems, including highcost, limit time, much potential safety hazard, were glutted in the subway construction.Former study showed that construction machineries were important cause in all theconstruction safety risk factors. If construction machinery accident happened, manyadverse effects, such as great loss of life and property, construction schedule delay, andquality reduce, were coming together. Therefore, to study on the subway engineeringconstruction machineries safety management was particularly important.Through the research status analysis on the foundation pit construction safety riskand machinery safety risk, on the bases of the research on construction technology in thesubway stations, construction machineries operation characteristics and constructionmachineries safety mechanism, the subway stations construction machineries workingsafety management system was presented, in which including machineries working limitanalysis, safety risk identification and safety risk evaluation. The safety risk lists wereestablished after the analysis on the working limit of the three kinds (pilling machine,Turkmen machine and Lifting machine), twelve types’ large construction machineries inthe subway construction. at the same time, the method of Operating Conditions RiskAssessment (LEC) based on Security Check List(SCL) was applied in the empiricalresearch in the selected subway engineering.The safety risk management system and safety risk lists in the research could bewell-referenced in the working safety management of machineries in subway stationsconstruction. Further research on the applicability of safety risk management system andcompleteness of safety risk lists was needed.
