With the growth of highway mile age and road traffic volume in China, emergenciesrepresented by traffic accidents,natural calamities,dangerous goods revealing events arepiling up, which have initiated a series of traffic and security problem being related toemergency affecting social and economic benefits of the highway seriously. Highwayemergency has the nature of randomness, severity and threatening, and the result caused byemergency easily diffuse. Highway traffic flow is large, high speed, in case of emergencies,often cause accidents and high casualty rate. After the occurrence of unexpected events easilyin Expressway formed on the bottle neck, causing traffic congestion or blockage, seriousinfluence freeway traffic capacity and service level of the highway, which leads to theefficiency and safety of operation is greatly reduced. Thus, the user of expressway emergencyinformation release put forward more and more requirements.This article study from the domestic and foreign highway emergency information releasetime and space research. First outlines the characteristics of emergencies, analys all sorts ofunexpected events (including traffic and bad weather) on highway traffic impact on therelease of information, the user needs; Then summarizes various emergency informationpublishing method advantages and disadvantages; Identification of a precipitating eventinformation release and release plan content; Using decision tree to predict emergencyrecovery time, and using decision tree to predict emergency recovery time, Finally, to thecoast of Jinshan highway as an example was used to verify.
