VSM Application In Improving Phase Sensor Productivity

With the development of the automotive industrial, all the automotiveproducers in China are all confronted with the increasingly fierce competition.The diversification and complication of the demand is also rising rapidly. Inorder to survive and improve, the Lean production has been widely used inmost of the manufactory. Lean production is to eliminate the unnecessarywaste in the production process by using the lean tool and JIT productionmode.A case of application the value stream in automotive engine controlsystem phase sensor production system was described, by which we analysisthe logistic and process. Then come to the value stream map of the wholesystem and find out the overstock and bottle neck procedure. Reduce theoverstock by supermarket management; improve the bottle neck productivityand balance the process by procedure analysis and action motion analysis;increase the efficiency by TPM and quick changeover. Value stream designcould help to show and ensure the effective of the improvement.
