As the most advanced manufacturing management method nowadays,lean production has strong practicality and has achieved objective benefits and wide recognition worldwide.Its core content is to reduce inventory and respond quickly in order to maximize production benefits.However,in domestic enterprises,although the lean production theory has been introduced for many years,its application level in various industries is uneven.Therefore,it is an urgent requirement for the transformation and upgrading of industrial enterprises in China to popularize this theory as soon as possible and implement it successfully in all walks of life.D enterprise is a well-known professional instrument manufacturer in China,but it is still at a relatively backward level in production management.This paper mainly takes D enterprise as the research object,combines the theory of lean production with the actual production situation of the enterprise,starting from three aspects: production process,inventory management and on-site management.It is found that there are still some problems in enterprises,such as low production efficiency,unreasonable production planning process,excessive inventory and confusion of on-site management.After analyzing the key causes of the above problems,the production process of enterprises is carried out by means of pull-type planning,zero inventory management,Kanban management and production line balance in lean production.After the implementation of the plan,performance index management is used to evaluate the performance of the improvement results,which provides a strong guarantee for the sustained development of the project and enables the company to enter the track of sustainable development as soon as possible and maximize the improvement.High customer loyalty and comprehensive competitive strength.
