At present, with the support of the country and local governments, China’s floodprotection and tide control project has developed rapidly. Cities under the threat offlood have formulated the urban flood protection and tide control project planning,building urban flood control project to improve their flood protection and tide controlability. But the construction of flood protection and tide control project exists manyuncertain factors because the cycle is long, the implementation is much and theinvestment is huge. So if we do not make accurate forecast and take correspondingpreventive measures in time, it will bring huge economy loss to the project party.What is more, it could cause serious bad influence in society. Therefore, riskassessment and against of the flood protection and tide control project becomesnecessary.The paper presents simple exposition of the basic theory of risk assessment, andon the basis of which, choosing flood protection and tide control project in GuangxiFangchenggang city Shatanjiang central area as study object, the paper performs riskidentification and risk evaluation to flood protection and tide control project andraises corresponding risk prevention measures. Firstly, according to the characteristicsof flood protection and tide control project, the paper identifies the risks in the processof flood protection and tide control project, defines18risk factors and establishes therisk evaluation index system of flood protection and tide control project. Secondly, thepaper evaluates the comprehensive risk of flood protection and tide control projectwith AHP and fuzzy synthetic evaluation method, making decision that thecomprehensive risk is in normal level. Thirdly, on the basis of risk identification andrisk evaluation, combing the actual condition of flood protection and tide controlproject, the paper puts forward the risk prevention measures. The paper raises corresponding measures to different risks to keep the risk down to the lowest level toensure the smooth completion of flood protection and tide control project.
