Construction Management Research On Oversea Electric Power Construction Project Of HTPC

Facing the shrinking plight of the domestic power market, can the construction companies ensure their sustainable development only by implementing international strategy, seeking new market and enhancing the market competitiveness of enterprises. How the thermal power construction enterprises grasp the opportunities and speed up to "go out" in the global market environment is an issue needed seriously consideration and study for thermal power construction enterprises.The writer consults a great number of related documents studying on oversea power project management and finds some enterprise reference material on oversea construction, then decides the study direction i.e. Construction Management Research on International Electric Power Construction Project of HTPC. This paper analyzes the current state of china electric power construction and development of HTPC, then mentioned that the construction companies have a trend to go abroad. The paper takes an example of international project management from HTPC, and introduces the contract scope and management of its India HISAR project, then points out the quality and erection management problems which HTPC met during actual progress, finally makes constructive suggestions and idea. It also provides some suggestion for some common questions (equipment&tools and construction mode under EPC contract) in oversea projects.In this paper, a new project management idea of overseas construction of thermal power construction enterprises is established. It explains that the overseas project management and the domestic project management should not be confused. In addition to the conventional methods of domestic project management, the overseas projects must be paid more attention to external environmental factors, which includes the policy environment, financial and economic environment. Only by fully considering the influencing factors of external environment, and to address and adapt to them, can overseas construction projects be done well. Also some recommendations, according to the characteristics of the thermal power construction enterprises, for improving the quality of overseas construction and the level of construction management, are given in this paper, which have a certain reference value for related overseas construction projects enterprises.
