Study On The Diagram Of Peter Eisenman

As one of the means necessary tools of contemporary architectures, diagram hasoccupied a very important position in western architectural field. In the dissertation,taking diagram design method invented by pioneer architecture Peter·Eisenman forexample to study on his diagram theory.The dissertation analysis the applications in different subject fields by expoundingdiagram theories and practices in other subjects at first; then using the unique features inEisenman s diagram: Anteriority Interiority Exteriority motivation to explainthe special start point; Thirdly, introducing several kinds of Eisenman s diagrammethods such as folding superposition artificial excavation, hoping that willunderstand more about his methods; at last, deepen the kernel of Peter·Eisenman sdiagram theory, illustrating the form of his diagram from the philosophy angle and thisis the main innovation points in my dissertation, in the same section, the computer aiddesign is mentioned. However, there is still some defects in his diagram method.The diagram method Peter·Eisenman using is a very unique approach, thedissertation centers around the unique nature and study its method and merits, with aview to help future design.
