With the global energy and climate issues have become increasingly severely, many countries have strengthened in all areas of energy technology research. China’s rural residential coal consumption for heating have accounted for more than 7% of total consumption, while the energy is not such a high comfort level to improve rural housing, so there is a large rural residential energy conservation potential.This paper is an integral part of the studies of "Technical Standards for residential energy-saving" sub-project" The standards and special demonstration of residential energy-saving technology in cold climate regions",which is a national "Eleventh Five-Year" Science and Technology Support Program project, the project’s research is mainly focus on key energy-efficient construction technology in rural residential of China’s cold regions. The issue research started from the survey of village residential in cold regions, a total of 50 residential were surveyed in the years 2007 to 2011, a large number of basic data was obtained, and through the collation and analysis of basic data, energy conservation problems about the residential in cold regions were summarized.The research carried out on the basis of the survey results, the features of current study on residential energy conservation were summarized through literature search, combined with solid-state research data, laboratory experiments and computer simulation methods, the paper research-the village residential energy-saving technology system in cold regions was formed.The system including residential layout and shape control, building envelope insulation technology, residential heating and cooling technologies, residential natural lighting techniques and so on. To further verify the applicability of the technical system in the village houses of cold region, two houses were selected to reconstruct, one was used the envelope Structural thermal insulation, solar heating and shallow underground pipe ventilation technical measures; to full use of abundant local soil and water resources ,a small ground-source heat pump system was built. Test results of the two projects show that the b residential indoor thermal environment maintained in thermal comfort level, better than the level of the former. These two projects proved the applicability of energy-saving technology system in the cold region village.
