As a kind of mechanical and electrical products’ important basic components,bearings are widely used in many fields.In order to responding to the uncertain and diversified needs of the market quickly,the traditional mass prpoduction mode already can’t adapt the new market environment,multi-varieties&scalable batch has become the main production organization mode inthe market competition environment.The traditional process quality control method is facing with new challengesbecause of the change of production mode. Statistical process quality control is facingmass production with plenty of sample data as the foundation. Under the environmentof multi-varieties&scalable batch, if the batch is small, then sample number is alsosmall, and control system’ complexity and stability will both increase, it bringdifficulties to the application of SPC. Therefore, the research on SPC control theory andtechnology under the environment of multi-varieties&scalable batch will provideimportant theoretical guidance for process quality control.This paper focuses on a series of concrete research such as the comprehensiveevaluation of process similarity, process stability, process ability control and thecomprehensive assessment of products quality.According to the analysis of the characteristics of the mode of multi-varieties&small batch, start with the influence of the factors of process quality, this paper take themethod of classification and code quality characteristics of small batch productionprocess so as to identify similar process of bearing manufacturing process, and classifyparts into groups refer to the example of the parts coding system.Based on expanded sample quantity, and through the analysis of main factors(5M1E) which affect the process quality, here we apply the process ability index in thecontrolling process of multi-varieties&small batch, and a computational method and anevaluation principle are given for computing the process ability index. This caused thecontrolling of the process ability into concrete quantification, once problem occurred,after the computing of the process ability index, a solving solution can be given in time,thus control the process quality.There is a problem that the processing quality of production system is dependingon multi-channel processes in bearing manufacturing process, according to the basic theory of multiple variables process capability index, this paper proposes a multiplevariables process capability index model balancing the relation of process capability andprocessing economy, and confirm the feasibility and validity with examples.
