Quality Tracing Support System For Production Process Of Machining Department In Multi-varieties And Small-batch Environmen

With the intensification of market competition, the individual requirement ofcustomer to product is growing steadily, many varieties and small batch is graduallybecoming very important production mode. In the production mode of multi-varietiesand small-batch, production conditions is complex and changeable，the disturbancefactors related to process increasing rapidly, such as man, machine, method,environment, etc. The phenomena of reworking and revising are very frequent. In thetraditional management mode, it is difficult for quality professionals to trace analysisand confirm the quality of the related parts. It has a severe effect on quality managementand increase the manufacturing cost for the production process. Consequently, how toupgrade the tracing ability of process quality for production process of machiningdepartment and enhance has become the priority fields of multi-varieties andsmall-batch manufacturing enterprise, the promotion of which contribute to raise thequality management level for workshop, enhance capability of the products.First of all, based on the analysis about the present situation and requirements ofthe quality tracing management for production process of machining department inmulti-varieties and small-batch environment, a quality traceability support system forproduction process of machining department in multi-varieties and small-batchenvironment was proposed, which can support quality data dynamic acquisition, qualityproblem positive and reverse traceability, quality problem analysis and handling. Thenthe architecture，function structure and running processes of the system were set up.Then, the three-dimensional model for production process of machiningdepartment in multi-varieties and small-batch environment was constructed, includingprocess-dimensional, attributes-dimensional and qualityinformation-dimensional. Somekey technologies were studied, including the process quality analysis and handlingtechnology of case based.Finally, based on the researches above, combining the requirements of amanufacturing enterprise in Guiyang, a set of quality tracing support system forproduction process of machining department in multi-varieties and small-batchenvironment is developed and applied at the machining department. The applicationresult is good.
