Different with the design method of traditional black-and-white simulative fabric,this research can get grey simulative digital jacquard fabric based onlayered-combination mode and grey yarns application, so as to restore greyinformation of former digital pattern. This method can make grey digital patterns intogrey simulative fabric. Moreover, colourful patterns can be made into grey simulativeor colourful simulative fabric in using the same weave structure. Adding grey layer inthe process of grey simulative digital jacquard fabric design can keep former greyinformation of digital pattern, which highly improves the ability of grey simulation.Layered-combination mode combines several single layer weave structuretogether, which has broken traditional one weave to one color design method, that isto say, the design of single layer structure in the basis of layered-combination mode.This research first did practices about single layer structure in grey simulative effectdigital jacquard fabric, points out double-side full-colour structure, then from wovenbalance and step number aspect to perfect structure, come up with two full-colourstructure design method, which combined with layered-combination mode design.Second, this research analyses the layered-combination mode, practiced a seriesof digital fabrics to express different effect of grey simulative digital jacquard fabric,mainly talk about weave method of layered-combination mode. In the practice of lowdensity black-and-white illustration digital fabric, demonstrated the large scale weavepossibility. In the practice of grey simulative portrait fabric, came up with a newmethod which is to add a new grey layer to the pattern, using combined full-colourwoven structure to get a perfect effect of grey transition. In the practice of visual2.5Dgrey digital jacquard fabric design, lay the digital pattern, then combine them together,because of full-colour structure and the visual space made by grey and black colour, it can get different effects on the fabric.As to the colour method of layered-combination mode, this research separatesdigital pattern into several colourful single layer, then simulated into grey digitaljacquard fabric. This design is about four seasons of watery region in south. Duringthe process, the grey information is saved; changing the yarn can easily get colourfulsimulative and grey simulative fabric when using the same weave structure.This research demonstrates the possibility to use different method based onlayered-combination mode to make grey simulative digital jacquard fabric, whichmainly discusses the method of pattern and color method from layered-combinationmode, and come up with the perfect grey transition effect or special fabric show. Tosimulate colorful pattern into grey digital fabric is an innovative method from thetraditional means. The layered-combination mode can provide theoretic basementresearch and well reference value for colorful digital jacquard fabric research. It canbe used in textile and costume fabric design with no boundary, and it has widelyapplication prospect.
