| The analysis on development of global textile and clothing indicate that jacquard fabric were quite popular among numerous international fashion apparel companies and consumers in recent years and it will have broad market prospects. Due to technical limitations, however, the design of traditional jacquard fabrics can only realize the simulation of hand-painted pattern and colors, which limit the innovation space of fabrics decoration and color beauty, affect the overall value of clothing products, and fail to adapt to fabrics clothing market features such as many varieties, high quality, personalized design and fast transformation. Aiming at the shortages, the project research was based on the digital innovative design principle of traditional jacquard fabrics and digita l jacquard design technology, proposes digital design method with computer technology characteristic advantages.This paper improves innovative design method through the fabric design practice and designs clothing products to verify the application value on the basis of characterist ics of fabric style.In this project, firstly, analyzed the design methods and product characteristics of traditiona l jacquard fabrics, and it is found that the design of traditional jacquard had a certain design rule as well as the fabric styles. However, the pattern and structural design of traditional jacquard were only can be processed under single plane design mode. In fact, under the traditional mode, pattern theme, shape, decorative colors and structure design of fabrics were limited and the design efficiency and effect were influenced. With the development of science and technology, human society has gradually entered the information age and digital jacquard fabric emerges. The special recognition and processing power of computer are the foundation of realizing the design methods and innovation of digital jacquard fabric design concept. The fabric design through the digita l pattern design and digital design can perfectly present the original artistic characteristics of patterns and the artistic effect of mixed structure in the true sense, provide designers with more creative performance space, and also adapt to the efficiency and the development status of efficie nt and personalized clothing market.And then, through the in-depth analysis of traditional jacquard dress fabrics design and digita l jacquard fabric design, the project presented a digital innovative design principle and method of traditional jacquard fabrics. The innovated design method is mainly implemented through the digitalization design of pattern and the structure. Thus, three paths of the digital innovation were explored. In addition, according to the relationship between digital innovation effect and the traditional jacquard fabrics effect, the project summarized the digital innovative design method as structure evolution effect design and pattern innovation effect design. The two effects were realized through digital color processing and digital shape processing. Moreover, after the design trail and effect analysis, the project summarized the digital color processing as type method, parameter method, light effect method and filling method, and summarized digital shape processing as drawing method and special effects method, definition processing method and deformation displacement method.Finally, the design practice was conducted in accordance with the proposed digital innovat io n design method. Taking Hangzhou culture as the fundame ntal theme, and selecting the West Lake as representative design elements, The beautiful scenery of the West Lake in different time and different occasions were captured and its meaningful focus was addressed. By centering on the design theme, the project was designed in terms of theme color, pattern and product. The digita l patterns of the West Lake landscape with the digital effect pattern were designed; through the three groups of design of cloud shadow, butterfly shadow and trace shadow, the digital innovation design was executed on the traditional jacquard fabrics with the theme of the West Lake dream shadow. The feasibility of the proposed design method was verified, and the fabric innovation effect was explored through the development of series products.Compared with traditional jacquard design, the design of digital jacquard has more efficie nt design process and its fabric own better artistic effect. It not only can conduct the evolution design of the structure style characteristics of the traditional jacquard fabric, but also can create unexpected innovation effect with digital design method. In addition, design effects change along with the design methods. The design method presented in this paper is suitable for the improvement of any traditional jacquard fabric and provide beneficial reference for the innovat io n of jacquard fabrics. |
