The living development of floating population brought about by the spatial evolution of city. Through field surveys, depth interviews and mapping methods, the paper studies the living development of floating population in Malu Town. In the perspective of space, the paper analyzes the evolution of space caused by the activities of floating population:making Malu Town from rural community to hybrid urban communities of factory and floating population. The spatial evolution of Malu Town is historic, different historical periods have different spatial topography. The paper also analyzes the multiple forces participation in space evolution in Malu Town, especially the power of floating population activities.Floating population participates in the process of spatial evolution of Malu Town, and also completes their social adaptation and social integration. In the perspective of space, the paper found that the sense of space belonging of floating population is not strong, and has inequality and exclusion in the use of the space with the local population. Inequality and exclusion of the use of space is not conducive to social adaptation of floating population. The paper put forward a number of suggestions to promote social adaptation of floating population. Finally, the paper proposes policy recommendations to urban floating population management and the suburbs of big cities governance with the larger city population gathering make better governance.in the suburbs of major city in China.
