Abstract/Summary:
With the development of computer and network technology, geographic information system (GIS) has been developed from a closed and isolated mode to WebGIS. The electronic chart and its application also have this development. As leader of GIS and WebGIS, ArcGIS released its first extension for chart:Nautical Solution in its version10.0. The development strategy of ArcGIS also reflects the development.In2011, the Navigation Intelligent Technology and System Research Institute bought ArcGIS10and built a B/S architecture chart service and application system with the nautical solution. The system can realize the display of chart and ship monitoring function. This thesis will base on the system, by using ArcGIS and Flex technology to improve the chart display, the display speed and the function. Make it meet various requirements.The main work in the thesis:(1) Analyze the technology and function of the ArcGIS and its main extension, combined with Flex technology, propose the technical route of the comprehensive monitoring system above water.(2) Process chart data with ArcGIS Nautical Solution. Build a complete chart symbol library According to the IHO S-52to realize the display of chart. Using pooled services and caching services to improve system capacity of multi-user concurrent access and chart display speed. Complete the establishment of the server.(3) According to the requirement of the comprehensive monitoring system above water, using Flex technology, to develop the system function. Realize the Aids to navigation monitoring, water level monitoring etc.
