During the period of Eleventh Five-Year plan, the scale of Qingdao tourism industry has expanded rapidly and the speed of development is increasingly faster. However, there is no doubt that some problems still exists during the process of rapid development of Qingdao tourism, such as simple tourism product structure, significant seasonal disparity of tourism and the development of tourism resource most focusing on the traditional sightseeing resources. Therefore, this thesis surveys current situation of Qingdao tourism, puts forward some valuable reflections, and mainly does some research on several problems of Qingdao leisure tourism resources development by sustainable development and systematic theory.Firstly, on the basis of relevant theories and literature review, it uses shift share analysis method to analyze the structural competitiveness of traditional tourism industry in Qingdao. The conclusion shows that the product system construction of Qingdao leisure tourism is still not perfect, so it is necessary to promote the development of leisure tourism resources. Meanwhile, the demand situation of Qingdao leisure tourism market indicates that it has good conditions to develop leisure tourism resources. Secondly, it also investigates the current situation of Qingdao leisure tourism resource and makes relevant classifications by referring to national standard and other mature dividing methods, and then uses analytic hierarchy process to do the evaluation. Based on above, the thesis offers some countermeasures and suggestions for Qingdao leisure tourism to achieve sustainable development. For instance, integrating Qingdao leisure tourism resources and traditional tourism resources, developing relevant leisure tourism products, establishing product system of Qingdao leisure tourism to stimulate the innovation and great development of Qingdao tourism. As solving problems of Qingdao tourism industry, the thesis hopes to give the future development of other tourist destinations some guidance.
