Today, in a society in which has the rapid development of information technology, the competition between the enterprises has focus on the competition for the talents, however, from the bottom of the fundamental competition relationships between the enterprises, we can see that is actually the competition for the effective performance management operation system. And with the bankruptcy of Lehman brother and the appearance of AIG serious financial crisis in the one of the largest insurance companies, more and more people are again keeping an eye on the enterprise performance management. The Efficient performance management system can transfer the business objectives into detailed, measurable standards; Can refine the macro target of enterprise to the concrete work of staff duties; Can use quantitative index tracking cross department, the period of performance change; Can help to find the problems timely and analyzing the actual performance that why it is beyond the expectation; Can get an effective information about the key ability and he deficiencies of enterprise. Besides, The Efficient performance management system can provide effective support information for enterprise management decision and the validity of implementation. What is more, it is a tool that can encourage team spirit and make employee incentive mechanism.Based on the research of performance management system, performance management and performance evaluation method both at home and abroad, and with the integrated use of the research methods of literature study, questionnaire and depth interview method to analysis the status of performance management of LD Company; at the same time, based on the analysis of senior management personnel in LD company, the paper give a analysis of the existence of problems, such as the lack of a clear orientation of the performance evaluation idea, the weak of pertinence of assessment index, the imperfect of assessment system and lack of performance coaching link; and lack of the most use of evaluation result in the daily management; lack of the application of performance assessment result. This study proposed optimization for the company's performance management, to private enterprise to improve the performance. The research has a reference value for the performance management's optimization in other enterprises.
