| In recent years,with the implementation of the strategies for revitalizing North-east Old Industrial Bases,Jilin Province has made great efforts to improve investment environment,the scale and level of Foreign Direct Investment in Jilin Province has expanded and rised more and more. As a special capital,Foreign Direct Investment includes capital,technology,management experience and other factors,it has been a decisive factor in sustainable economic growth of Jilin Province. It not only makes up for fund shortage in Jilin's economic construction,creates employment opportunities,increases financial revenue,but also promotes optimization and upgrading of industrial structure. However,we do not affirm the existence of Foreign Direct Investment ,but also must recognize the Foreign Direct Investment have had some negative impact on the industrial structure adjustment of Jilin. In order to present a lot of helps to the work of Jilin's Government,this paper analyzes the impact of Foreign Direct Investment on Jilin's economy from the perspective of industrial structure,and puts forward policy recommendations to settle the negative impact.Beginning with the relevant theories of Foreign Direct Investment and industrial structure adjustment,this paper elaborates the present situation and problems of Jilin's industrial structure as well as the survey of Foreign Direct Investment. Then,this paper analyzes the impact of Foreign Direct Investment on Jilin's Industrial structure from the positive and negative angle. On these bases,this paper analyzes the relationship between Foreign Direct Investment and Jilin's industrial structure,and the contribution of Foreign Direct Investment to the economic growth of three industries,by utilizing cointegration test and Granger causality test. The results of quantitative analysis tell us that the stock of Foreign Direct Investment help reducing the proportion of primary industry,this means it optimizes the industrial structure. At the same time,the result also tell us that the inflow of Foreign Direct Investment help increasing the added value of secondary and tertiary industries,but the relationship between Foreign Direct Investment and the added value of primary industry is not obvious. Finally,based on the analysis of the previous text,we brings forward the corresponding policy on how to use Foreign Direct Investment to adjust and upgrade the industrial structure of Jilin province. The policy include to optimize the distribution of Foreign Direct Investment in three industries,to enhance the local business association with the foreign industry,to guide the distribution of Foreign Direct Investment in Jilin and focus on improving the investment environment. |
