The Study On The Critical Success Factors Of Foreign Contract Construction

With the strategy of"Going out", the industry of foreign contract construction has got fast development. Compared with advanced companies, there are several problems with companies of Chinese foreign contract construction, just like low profit, the low level of project management. According to the development of the industry of foreign contract construction, found out the critical success factors of foreign contract construction and clearing with the intrinsic link between the performance of project which is helpful to improve the profit and the level of project management and is important for the development of the industry of foreign contract construction.Through the method of literature reviewing and analyzing, the method combined of the theoretical framework and statistical analysis are determined. From the view of development, 49 critical success factors are finded out from four aspects, including the characteristics of project participants, the charactistics of project, the environment of project and the characteristics of project management. The method of questionnaire survey are adopted, 300 questionnaires are deliveried and 218 are returned, 187 valid questionnaires are are entered into SPSS and analyzed through the methold of factor analyze. 49 critical success factors are divided into 13 categories. On this basis, 9 hypotheses between the critical success factors and the performance of project are proposed and the structural equation model is used to depictted 9 hypotheses in this paper. The data of 187 questionnaires are entried into AMOS, the model are finally accepted through amending.The origin hypothesis were verified through the data analyzing, and 9 conclusion were got, including the willingness and ability of owner, the capability and experience of contractor, the relationship of the project participants, project schedule management,project quality management, project cost management and project management of the bidding have an directly impact on the project performance. On the basis, the impact between the critical success factors and the project performance has been explained in this paper.
