International Construction Risk Assessment And Control Study

International constructional engineering projects are usually located in different countries and regions, due to the social and natural environment is very different from china, comparing with the domestic projects, the human resources costs are very high, the equipments and materials are harder to be organized and managed; the general large-scale overseas projects need a longer period, require a large amount of pre-Loaning, capital risk is very large; it also relates to the local currency and common currency and the RMB currency exchange rate risk; and the taxation and finance management are different from the domestic one. All of these above mentioned characteristics have resulted in international construction project to get more risks and opportunities.On the basis of summary of risk management on the Chinese and international constructional engineering projects, this paper adopts the risk management theory and method to identify and analyze the projects risk, combining with the possibility of risk occurring to establish a multi-level risk model and give an assessment. According to the results of risk assessment, this paper make the classification for the risk factors and give the corresponding risk management measures and monitoring measures.Focus on Kuwait SABAH AL-AHMAD CITY INFRASTURCTURE PROJECTS'detailed cases, the author expects to provide the corporation who participate the international constructional engineering projects with a theoretical and practical significance on the project risk assessment and project management.
