China's Foreign Project Contracting Enterprises International Engineering Project Risk Management

With the globalization of the world economy and China joining the WTO, Chinese international contractors will surely witness a much more favorable opportunity to expend the international construction market. At present, more and more domestic enterprises carry out their business overseas. Architectural enterprises are facing great challenges, just because international projects are affected by many uncertain factors and contractors themselves have many shortcomings. It is crying need for international contractors to make detailed study on the risk management of international projects so as to effectively avoid risk and increase profits.This article systemically studies the main risk factors in the international projects standing in the project contractors angle and with a fully consideration on the essentials of the risks and the characteristics of the international projects. First, by extracting the commonness from the international project as a whole and referring to the managerial experience of the enterprise risk and the financial risk, a risk management frame is established to be suitable for each kind of project and elaborates the main content of the international project risk management. Then, the article carries on the classified recognition and the system analysis to the risk and proposed the main risk response measures. Finally, Kabur to Jialalabade and Tuham Road Repair Project in Afghanistan contracted by China Railway Shisiju Group Corporation is carried on to positive study.In the risk recognition aspect, the article introduces the risk recognition technology and the tool and classified the risk according to the origin using these tools, and then establishes the more perfect risk recognition target system.
