The development of pome industry effect Shaanxi's rural economic development process in main pome producing areas and the enhance of integrated competitiveness in Shaanxi fruit industry.In this paper,we base on in-depth research of domestic and foreign pear industry, in connection with the present situation of Shaanxi pear industry, through the SWOT analysis,and using systems analysis methods to study the development of Shaanxi pome fruit industry's strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats. On this basis, the paper proposes the sustainable development of Shaanxi pear industry in order to make Shaanxi fruit industry healthy and sustainable. The results are as follows:1. Overall analyze natural and social conditions in Shaanxi pear industry. Investigate through the development in Home and abroad pear industry and the production area and yield of Shaanxi pear industry, dominant varieties and regions, science and technology promotion, marketing and export trade, storage and processing, industrial organizations to understand Market position, development of the situation, problems and prospects in Shaanxi pome fruit industry.2. On this basis, using SWOT analysis theory, make SWOT analysis to the status of Shaanxi pear industry. Through the establishment of SWOT matrix, using an integrated system of analysis method, submit the main strategic decisions of Shaanxi Fruit industry.The results show that, because Shaanxi pear have excellent quality and excellent storage properties, pear industry in the country has a dominant position, and has a large industrial scale and strong market competitiveness. But there are some disadvantaged factors, such as shrinking cultivated area and lacking species structure. As long as government increases supports to focus on brand building and gradually optimize the product structure, and actively support the industry organizations, the implementation of product standardization strategy, the industrialization of Shaanxi pear industry is entirely achievable.
