Along with the IT industry quick development, all the various trades and company's operations had a deeper dependence to IT. The service level of IT, include high usability, the reliability, the performance and the security, need to manage with a standard and best practice. ITSM, is the key to promote the service level of IT.ITSM is called as IT service management, is a discipline for managing information technology systems, philosophically centered on the customer's perspective of IT's contribution to the business. It employs ITIL(Information Technology Infrastructure Library) documented best practices and in most cases extends beyond into additional areas such as enhanced processes and implementation to provide additional value-added functionality.This article is built in the research of the theory of the IT Service management. Through understanding the development of the ITSM, we applied our theory research to practice, and built an ITSM software system by the project of an e-commercial company.According to the business process of the company we study several primary functional processes. Now the ITSM system has been built and it is operating. We hope by this project we can prove the progress of the ITSM in China, and fastened the IT software industry development and the IT service management level in our country.
