Express mail service (EMS) business has made rapid progress since its inception, China Post has become the largest express carrier. In recent years, as the country's gradual opening of the express industry, the postal EMS in the midst of a more open and more competitive market environment, foreign express delivery giants and private express delivery companies continue to grab market, the Post EMS express delivery market in the history of a dominant the past. Especially after the 2007 national postal system, postal separate government from enterprises, owners of the body showing the state-owned courier, private, foreign-funded enterprises the three pillars of the situation. How in the fierce market competition, a firm footing and continued to survive and develop, to avoid further loss of market share, has become an urgent need to study the subject post. In this paper, use PEST, SWOT and value chain methods, Yunnan Post EMS facing the macro environment, industry environment and analyze their competitiveness on how to seize opportunities in the future, to avoid the threat, its advantages, disadvantages have been studied to make up for proposed Yunnan Post EMS appropriateness of using differentiation focus strategy, and from the brand strategy, information strategy, product strategy, talent strategy and cooperative strategy etc clarify the implementation of the strategy of specific functions. In this paper, Yunnan Post EMS in the fierce competition in the market with a certain reference value and significance.
