VoIP service has been favored by more and more users and telecommunication operators thanks to its low-tarrif, easy to use and rich functionality, while the GPON technology, has become mainstream and leading technogoloy in optic access network by virtue of its high-bandwidth,long-distanc reach, full-service supported and QoS guaranted etc, so nowadays,how to realize configuration and management of VoIP traffic across GPON system is already expected to be an important research target.This paper is based on analysis of OMCI protocol's features and principal VoIP Calling Control protocol's connotation in GPON system, and in terms of technique of modular design to respectively realize OMCI's structure design and every single sub-module working-flow design, meanwhile, to VoIP's configuration and management interface design in OMCI path according to function design and finally, it's realized VoIP's configuration management,fault management,performance management and safty management.In the first chapter, firstly, it introduces industrial backgroud and status of both GPON and VOIP, then points out the necessity of how to integrate these two technologies and this paper's main target;in the second cahaper, it introduces GPON system structure and control management platform protocol stack, and VoIP's theory and its related three mainstream calling control protocols;in the third chapter,it introduces the positioning and report format of OMCI protocol, as well as VoIP entity's attribution in MIB;in the fourth chaper, respectively refering to OLT and ONU,it introduces OMCI's modular design plan to explain the relation among different modules,inclued sub-modules and every single sub-module's working flow;in the fifth chapter,on the basis of OMCI modular design, it introduces VoIP traffic interfaces design in OLT and ONU, SIP-based and H248-based low-level voice interface design and invoking relation between those low-level voice interface and VoIP entity in MIB; in the last chapter, it makes a conclusion and forecase as regards to this paper.
