Enlargement of IC scale, a growing number of10pins, increasing wiring density, improvement of clock frequency and signal edge steepness, product development circle and market competition, all of above bring forward an ordeal to the success rate of the product. Signal integrity problems which are neglected in the low-speed systems now affect the design of high-speed systems. Signal integrity analysis of high-speed has become a necessity. How to find SI problems and effective solutions in the early time is quite essential to shortening the development cycle and improving product quality.Firstly, the article analyzes the transmission line theory and gives the definition of high-speed signals. Then it gives details and solutions about reflection, crosstalk, simultaneous switching noise and delay. Around a specific hardware platform design, the article focuses on modeling and simulation of DDR2high-speed signals about the reflection, delay and crosstalk using IBIS models and simulation software, according to which schematic and PCB design are modified and improved. |
