The main reason is that American advocated equality between men andwomen, but Chinese are all affected by Confucianism and women are deeply influenced by"Home-Based". The third, some foreign media focus on different questions when they haveinterview with Chinese and American female players during an on-stage interview. Thejournalist focuses on how hard the American players work while the family lives of Chineseplayers, mainly due to the influence in the blending of cultures.Based on the analysis, some countermeasures are suggested according to the "genderimbalance" in sports news on the final part:1. the female should have self-consciousness;2. strengthen legislative and media monitoring;3. media itself tries to change the genderimbalance in the sports news.
