Information is becoming more and more important to human being as time went by, especially ininformation society. Some kinds of study, including philosophy were taken place accompanied with thischange, and that is how information philosophy informed. Since the concept of "information" isessential to the establishment of information philosophy, it's important to make it clear.Information is connected with material and energy, but information campaign is not equal to themotion of matter and energy movement. Especially when it was used for interpret people's recognitionactivity. Therefore, information is information, not material, nor energy. In this paper we believe thatinformation is something emergent in communicative action. The reasons are as follows: firstly, anything that generate from human's perception, identification, and construction are thing-in-itself;information which human didn't participate is not exist, the first characteristic of information is that it'sa cognitive phenomenon and it's an attribute of man. Secondly, a Marxist must admit that the nature ofhuman is the sum of all social relations, if we didn't discuss information on the basic of communicativeaction, it's inevitable for us fall into fatalism, reductionism and reflectionism. Therefore, the reason whywe think information is an attribute of man is that we believe human is social animal andcommunicative action is the way he exist.According to the definition, this paper was mainly divided into the following sections. In chapterone, by analyzing several concept of "information" in domestic and foreign, I discussed the relationshipamong information, material and energy, and distinguish them from each other. I also explain why Iopposed information ontology and support information constructivism, only through that I thinkinformation is an attribute of man. In chapter two, I give my explanation about communicative actionfirst, then, I divided information into humanized nature information, group information and individualinformation. Because information content is different form information carrier, I also described themedium role of symbol in information transmission. In chapter three, there will be a depth discussionabout group information and individual information. You can draw a conclusion that the concept of"information" in this paper has something in common with human's consciousness, that's why the paperpaid some attention to it. There is a heavy debate about consciousness in Philosophy of Mind, somepeople support "dualism" while others support "reductionism", I support the former one. At the end ofpaper, I will discuss the relationship between the subject and the philosophy of Marxism. This paper isbased on communicative action, in the field of information philosophy we place human in the structureof social-history, which is consistent with Marxism, in Marxism people improve theirself-consciousness through philosophy reflection and therefore critically examine the socialenvironment where human lived in.
