Raw coal with various property form more than10mines are washed in HuaiBei Linhuan Coal Preparation Plant, so it is necessary to blend coal. However, the mount of coal was controlled by the mount of feeder and its runtime which was relied on the experience of the workers. It has subjective error that makes the quality of coal blending unstable before and the need of customer cannot be satisfied. So, it is a burning question to use the ratio gotten from the experiment to the practical production.The birth of PLC technique and converter technique provided an excellent method to solve this problem. The robotization of coal blending can be come true because of PLC technique. In addition, the frequency converter offers a good way to transform the speed of electromotor. With large scale of speed and easy using, the frequency converter was to adjust the speed of feeder to control the mount of coal. So the mount of coal can be adjusted tinily and it is simple to get the blending coal as the ratio given.The automatic control system of coal bleeding adopt Schneider Electronics AG's PLC series of Quantum as Remote control RACES forming Distributed network structure with Local I/O of the central control room by Coaxial cable. Ecr stood apply the software Concept as Programming Software to work out Run Program of coal bleeding. And the upper computer applies Supervisory Control Configuration Software to monitor and control the process of production and even realize the equipment fault alarm. In this automatic coal blending control system in Linhuan coal preparation plant, the functions to realize and the requirements of controlling in the process of production has been analysed, all the Controlled equipments and equipments that need to be monitored has been listed and all the I/O signal points of PLC has been calculated. Besides, the right PLC modules have been chosen and the wiring diagram of module has been drawn. And by configuring SCADA and programming in lower computer, the coal blending program has been written. The reliability of automatic control system has been analysed, and solution has been offered targeted.The system can subjective error can be overcome. In this case, the quality of product can be guaranteed to satisfy the need of customer. By the control of PLC and transducer to blend coal, the kind and ratio of coal can be changed at any time and the ratio can be guaranteed.Figure [28] table [3] reference...
