With the requirement for the quality of composite materials molding products is getting higher and higher, the methods that take process equipments as isolated units to manufacture can't adapt the technology advancement at the composite materials molding plant. While realizing the automotive, intelligent&networked supervisory and control of entire molding process will have great potential in the future. With the rapid rising information exchange amount among the process units, to establish the Industrial Ethernet applied to the composite materials molding manufactures is much more significant.This paper details with the steps and processes to build the supervising and controlling system of computer network on composite materials molding. Via taking the process units as network nodes and implementing the centralized management and online supervise on each process unit under the network environment, we can optimize the global operation as well as improve the integrated efficiency.The designing of the supervising and controlling system in this paper mainly concentrates on two sections-the superior MIS (Management Information System) and the lower SCAD A (Supervising Control and Data Acquisition), which are based on TCP/IP and Web technology. Eventually the seamless connectivity between the management information and supervising data could be achieved. Meanwhile, the solution to management and control integration becomes simple and direct. Function comprehension, interconnect network, opening functionality and standardization of the system are also guaranteed. By means of designing the MIS based on the hardware foundation and software platform under the industrial Ethernet environment, the information from functional departments of the composite materials molding enterprise, such as raw material purchase department, product department, sales department, workshop and upper decision-making department is transmitted in the whole network via the high speed Ethernet based on TCP/IP, so that time consumed on the coordination of different process units are reduced largely.The backbone network of the supervising and controlling system on composite materials molding enterprise adopts the high speed Ethernet with bus topology. The computer nodes of different departments are connected with Ethernet in the shape of peer to peer so as to form the Intranet, which is used to accomplish the function of global data management and real time monitoring. The field apparatus in the workshop form various intelligent work nodes via corresponding bus technologies, and after the protocol transforming, they are connected with the Industrial Ethernet hub/switch based on TCP/IP as well, which acts as the public bus, so as to form the workshop level network, which is used to accomplish the real time monitoring and also called Infranet. Besides, via connecting the server with the router, we can realize the connection between the enterprise LAN and the Internet, eventually the remote survey and control is accomplished easily.As to the software platform of the system, this paper designs a series of compact and high efficient user application programs based on Visual Basic6.0data base development technology and Access2003data base, which also achieve grading login and network security using the right management module of the software itself.
