With the research on the rock surface analyze and the development of the vision inspection technology, the surface measurement system based on laser scanning measurement can be applied to the rock surface measurement and mechanics fractal field. The traditional method utilizes one single projection point to sample and scan all points on the surface to get their spatial data which preserve a high precision, but the measurement speed is fairly low.In this dissertation, a rock surface 3D measurement system based on line structured-light scanning measurement is developed, which composed of a line-structured sensor and a motorized translation stage. This system has the advantage of wide measurement range, high measurement accuracy and fast measurement speed.The main research work in this dissertation is as follows:1. Analyzing the existent rock surface 3D measurement. The mathematics model of the line-structured laser scanning measurement was founded;2. To get a number of control points with a circle pattern for the calibration of light-plane parameters. And an unrestricted object function was constructed to ensure the orthogonal character and high accuracy of the parameters. Measurement on gauge blocks was performed, which achieve satisfactory results with the space measurement accuracy better than 0.2mm;3. The power supply for the line-structured laser generator was designed to control the brightness of the line-structured laser generator by the software;4. A rock surface 3D measurement system based on line structured-light scanning measurement is developed.
