Along with the development of the technologies for informatization and industrialization, the proposed concept of the "two of "integration (informatization and industrialization) has been highly emphasized from all walks of life. As a result, The application of Internet of Things (IOT) springs up and becomes more and more popular. With the rapid development of social industrialization, at the same time, the national economy developed too. However, we must not neglect the bad effect for this, that is, natural environmental pollution and damage is increasingly deepen. The living environment and living conditions for wild animals is also turns to be more and more dangerous. We all know that wild animals are one of the required parts for the ecosystem. Protecting wild animals means protecting the ecosystem as well as protecting natural healthy atmosphere, For human beings, if we plan to have sustainable natural environment and harmonious social atmosphere to exist, now then, protecting wild animals is one of the top priorities. This thesis makes wildlife reserve as the target living environment, it was launched for protecting wild animals in wildlife reserve. Firstly, it summarized the existing protection situation for wild animals of our country, analyzed the current protection situations and shortages about wildlife reserves, domestic and foreign research status. Then it comes up with the idea, that is, to apply IOT theory structure into wildlife reserve monitoring. In return, from one hand, we can have the diversify information under more reliable control, for the good centralization, automation, visual management, this will decrease lose or even death of wildlife for accidental reasons; From the other hand, through information storage and analysis, we can have a better and more scientific information to reach a better strategic decision for wildlife protection, and this information source can be valuable for wildlife's scientific research and sustainable development. In this thesis, it used application layer of IOT theory structure, analyzed the information of wildlife reserve, then organized and designed the platform to manage the information. The collected and monitored information was storaged in Oracle database. The platform was developped by VC++related technology. ADO was used to connect Oracle database, so that, the system users can read the required monitoring data information in time. Then the VC++platform was used to program proper interface to realize some related practical operation, such as data updating, data query, data deleting. Additionally, corresponding function was programmed to manage the monitoring information as well as the basic attribute information, so that, animals in the wildlife reserve can be protected in time.In the end of the thesis, the designed and developed wildlife reserve information management system was tested by a simulating instance. RS-232serial port was used to produce data information, then Oracle database collected the data information and storage them into specific defined data sheet. Through running the instance, it confirmed that the information system can read the dynamic data information correctly and timely. It can allow the operations such as updating, adding, deleting and so on.Briefly speaking, the monitoring and basic attribute data information of wildlife reserve can be managed in a more visual, more intuitive and more scientific platform. The brief information system which was developed based on Internet of Things (IOT) theory, offered a more efficient management method, and for animal protection, it made the process control more scientific and comprehensive.
