With the rapid development of China's social and economic, geological industry carries out a wide range of earth science research and geological exploration of mineral resources to form a lot of geology and mineral resource data and geology and mineral resource data. How to use the computer network and information technology to digitize its information and data, to improve the service platform of geology and mineral resources information resources and provide convenient services for the research and production of geological industry is the main topic of the geological information service practitioners. Because the geological industry has features of a diversity of information carriers, geological data sample dispersion and the original and division of geological map, the digitization of information resources of the industry the process is relatively slow. As well, the geological industry users want to access and manage information and knowledge directly and easily in their own learning or work platform to show a strong personality trend for the changes of their work and study in the network environment. Traditional service model and service methods cannot meet the needs of personalized and diversified geological users, so the use of customer relationship management information services becomes more obvious each day. Therefore, carrying out the CRM based on the geological data personalized information services is of great significance.This paper uses the methods of literature research, comparative analysis and interdisciplinary reference. It studies the theory of personalized information services systematically, introducing the concept of CRM, with user demand oriented to build the service process of the CRM-based personalized information services, it gives a comprehensive analysis of the status of the geological information services, points out the existing problems and deficiency of development, analyzes the necessity and feasibility of the implementation of personalized information service of geological information based on CRM. Construct geological data model of personalized information service through the method of combining theory and practice. Integrate management of four constructing elements of user management, resources, services, technology, with the way of collaboration push on the coordinated operation of geological data for personalized information service. Introduce the benefit evaluation method of the geological data of personalized information service."Research on the personalized information service of geological data based on the CRM" put forward some effective suggestions and countermeasures for better personalized information service of the geological information.
