Research And Implement Of Virtual Campus History Park Roam System Based On Virtools

With the introduction of the concept of digital campus and the rapid development of computer technology, Virtual Reality Technology (VRT) has been rapidly promoted, and shows its importance, and becomes the focus of the era. School history as an important part of the school culture, VRT will be used to construct School History Park, give full play to the virtual reality technology in the field of education, and play a positive role in strengthening the ideological and moral education of students. Based on the research of VRT, the basic theory, the key technologies, the overall design concept and the specific implementation process of the virtual campus history park have been elaborated in detail in the paper.The solid models of this subject is history theme park of Sichuan Normal University, which focuses on the technology of three-dimensional modeling and the realization methods of roaming interactive. Under the guidance of constructivism theory, humanism theory and virtual experiences theory, the paper relies on 3DS Max modeling techniques and Virtools interactive technology to combine VRT with School History Park. Finally, the Virtual Campus History Park roaming system of Sichuan Normal University has been implemented. First at all, the auxiliary and the main buildings of campus environment were modeled; Next, all the models were carried on by rendering and textures, and the scenes were integrated to obtain a realistic virtual environment for School History Park; Finally, the roaming interaction were implemented through Virtools .The users will be able to understand the history of the school through the computer at home, and acquire immersive experience. The implementation of the system show a profound historical and cultural heritage of a school, and establish a good school image , and improve the visibility of the campus, and promote the development of Sichuan Normal University Campus Culture.
